Don't know where to start with your interior project, need your ideas validated or professional guidance?

Our consultation service allows you to access design expertise without committing to a complete redesign project. Zoe will visit your property with colour charts, style moodboards, a tape measure and a questionnaire to identify the challenges in the space and your vision for the finished project. There is more to interior design than colour so there is also opportunity to discuss furniture, the floorplan, lighting, finishes and more, depending on the requirements of your particular project. The session usually lasts 1-2 hours. In this time you can focus on one room in great detail, or the whole house in ‘broad strokes’. At the end of the session you will have a clear idea of the best layout for your space, the right ‘look’ or style, and a colour plan. Sometimes there are things that we need to go away and research for you before suggesting the right solution, so we like to follow up after the consultation and will provide you with a written report containing all the recommendations. This consultation service and report will leave you with a clear sense of purpose and direction for your project.

Typical availability is 10am Wednesdays. Other weekday mornings and  Weds evening / Sat morning are available by arrangement for clients needing extra flexibility.

Please note this service is only available to clients in the Bristol area. If you would like to book a consultation but live outside of Bristol we may still be able to help - please get in touch to make a special booking.

Really stuck for ideas, feeling daunted by designing or simply too busy? Let us design your room for you!

First Zoe will visit your property to carry out a survey, identify all the challenges the space presents and take your Design Brief. You will then receive a moodboard as a guide for the feel of the finished design, and be invited to give feedback. Working to a budget set by you, the design scheme will include a floorplan drawing with furniture layout, elevation drawings, colour scheme, samples of paint, papers, fabrics and other finishes, a budget spreadsheet and shopping list. This can all be used to help you both visualise and realise the finished design with an easy to follow guide.

The price includes one revision to the scheme to ensure client satisfaction.  We want all our clients to love their design schemes!

A 30% non-refundable deposit is payable to commence the design work, 30% midway through, 30% is payable upon completion of the design work, before original artwork is supplied to the client, and the final 10% upon completion of the revision to the scheme.

Sometimes out clients are simply too busy to do their own purchasing, delivery co-ordinating, tradesmen booking and and furniture placing. When that happens, we take care of it all instead, like this:

  • Specifying the Scope of Works required
  • Obtaining quotes / estimates from tradesmen, curtain makers etc
  • Scheduling the works
  • Placing orders for all specified fixtures, furnishings and equipment (FF&E)
  • Managing the project budget
  • Co-ordinating deliveries and returns
  • Briefing and co-ordinating tradesmen on site
  • Progress and works inspection on site
  • Snagging and resolution

“My two bedroom apartment in Bristol just wasn’t achieving its potential in terms of rental value.Zoë created a stylish look based on replacing the wallpaper in the lounge and repainting the rest of the flat using three greys.  These colours flow through the flat creating a calming and harmonised feel to the place and which although are far more contemporary than I would have picked, works extremely well with the Georgian features.  The simplicity of the new wallpaper has added a sophistication to the lounge that we could never have achieved. We love the overall look Zoë has achieved and perhaps most importantly we have realised our objective of achieving a higher rental.”
